My family and myself wasn't treated well by the staff. I guess you have to dress like you have a million dollars to have an equal service as the others.

I am part of a mom's cooking group, and we absolutely love to taste good wine as well as cook. Some of us decided to take a trip with our kids to Tarara today to enjoy some food and then planned on doing some tastings and surely to buy wine. When we got there, we were the only ones there and were so the entire time we were there. We were greeted by a nice young man who opened a little banquet area for us to let our kids stretch and play, while we all enjoyed our food. We planned on tasting after we finished our food. The young man had suggested that we come out three at a time (there were eight of us) to taste while the others watched the kids. Mind you, we were in a total separate room from the tasting section. Toward the end of our lunch, one of the moms decided to ask the lady at the front (she happened to be there at this time) if she would like to enjoy some of our food, as we had plenty. Her response: "It is extremely inappropriate for you all to be here, especially with your kids. Please take your party outside." Ummm...it reached 105 degrees today. So, the mom asked to speak to the owner. The owner, who happened to come downstairs fifteen minutes later, literally asked us to leave! It was absolutely discriminatory toward the fact that we had kids. She said, "this is a place of business. We are not a nursery school." Then, we mentioned to her that we do know other people, moms, dads, and singles alike, and will be telling them that this is how we are being treated. Her response: "oh, so I don't have to deal with more moms bringing along their kids"?! She also said that we were disturbing other customers...we were the ONLY ONES the entire time we were there. Oh my gosh, this was by far the most horrific case of discrimination against having kids with us. It was so blatant. Thank goodness one of the moms told her that she should really remove from their website that they are "kid-friendly" - it is QUITE the opposite. In fact, as we were trying to talk to her, she literally turned her back and walked away. It was awful. Just awful. PLEASE take caution and go to ANY other vineyard around the area. There are plenty of others that are way more accommodating.

We went when they had the Fall festival. They charged $20 including the wine tasting. We tried 6 wines which were not that great. They rushed us through the tasting. I wanted a sweeter wine so they told me to go to the tasting room even though it was not working during the festival. Went up there and they told me I could not do any tasting. Why did they send me up there in the first place!!! Left very unhappy with the festival, the wine and the service during wine tasting. The only great thing they had was the hayride through the property. It is a beautiful place.

For being my first winery visit, I thought it was quite nice. The ambiance was great and so were the staff. The company of my friends whom Angel and I got to experience this with was just perfect and wonderful. So glad the experience was with them.

If you're gonna have a wine cave, have something decent to put in it.
