We met the vintner at the Iowa Farmers Market in Des Moines, and liked the dry reds we sampled there, so stopped at the winery on the way back to Indianola. Very nice visit with his wife in the tasting room, which by the way is very well appointed and homey. All the wines are good, and I left with the Edelweiss - the best I tried on the trip. A must visit if in the area!
