It's a shame that people will write bad thngs about someone/something, but not have the graciousness to tell the person face-to-face. You can't fix something if you don't know it's broken.

We hosted my daughters graduation/birthday party here. The location is gorgeous inside and out. The wines are delicious. However, Dana, one of the owners is in my opinion in no way fit to be a hostess. she was uptight, unwelcoming, anal even from the minute my husband and I got there to set up. She literally picked crumbs up,off of the commercial carpet, behind us as we two set up. We accidentally dropped one or two chocolate chips on the carpet as we set up and she bolted out from behind the bar with a rag and spray cleaner and got on her hands and knees and scrubbed and whined about them while waving us out of her way and chastising us for dropping them. We were expecting 100 guest so needless to say we were alarmed by this behavior during set up. She did not offer to let us use any kitchen facility for our extensive food. We felt like we had to beg to store any of our cold food items. Her husband/business partner was much better to work with although seemed a bit befuddled by the party as a whole. Dana continued to be uptight even after Aaron the bartender came to take over the bartending and party watching duties. She seemed to lurk around in the outside area and pop up out of her house and reprimand our guests and silently judge. Every adult guest and most of the graduates commented on her behavior at some point in the evening. It was a sadly fun dampening aspect of the night. All in all the experience was good with Aaron being a great bartender and the facility making up for most of the bizarre behavior of the host/owner.

Used to go to this winery quite often until we were turned off by the wife of the owner (Dana). Not at all customer friendly, matter of fact quite rude. Wines are good and Dana's husband is very nice, but to be treated rudely by one of the owners is unacceptable. always sends newsletter out ending with thanking people for their friendship - what a joke. Too many other customer friendly wineries in the area to be bothered by this attitude!

I had the honor of officiating a wedding at this vinyard recently. While the staff were pleasant, and the wine itself was really quite good, the owner's wife purposefully went out of her way to be as unpleasant as possible, about everything she touched. I'm not the only person here to share this opinion, either. Her husband is a very nice gentleman, and everyone else I spoke to or dealt with from the vineyard was pleasant as well. But she is the exact opposite. I also happened to have overheard what the bride and groom were paying to rent this property, and for that much, the vinyard should have closed all other business. Instead, wedding guests were inconvenienced, put off, and looked down upon. The owner's wife purposefully gave the impression that she did not want to deal with the wedding party, but she certainly did want their money.

Not much too look at and the drive down the road is a bit daunting. Try the Red Kiss wine though, it is as sexy and sultry tasting as the name implies.

The road to this winery is kinda scary, but it was a nice visit. Accommodates larger groups. They have a nice variety of wines...their Red Kiss is unusual, but good!
