I didn't expect much here, and wasn't disappointed. The building is old yet lacks carachter, there were a lot of "drunken tourists" (and we were here at 11 a.m.)and the wine was average (on the sweet side). We still had a good time - don't get me wrong - sometimes touristy is good!

Made another trip to one of our favorite wineries. Shared a bottle in the yard and ordered a case for home.

Favorite Wine: Concord

The Islands grow a lot of grapes because of the great climate. Heineman's has a great patio with cement tables in the back where you can enjoy the sunshine and watch the grapes growing along the fence. Have some wine with a plate of cheese and crackers and it feels like a European Cafe. Whenever I visit the South Bass, I make it a point to visit.

spent the day at put in bay and had a good time took grandkids to the winery and the cave they liked the winery better then the cave we enjoyed the tour

Small but nice. Very friendly staff. No sales on Sunday until 1:00. A good finish to a weekend on the island.

It has been a couple of years since I was there, but I enjoyed the tour & the relaxed atmosphere. Wine was too sweet for me.

Favorite Wine: Chambourcin

The wine is a little sweet, but to be expected on the lake. The winery is old and a little run down, but really cool. Chambourcin was pretty good. They have a cave in the winery! Really cool old wood barrels.

Went July and August 2007. August was for my birthday in Put-In-Bay. My kids had the child's wine (juice) and we had a great time in the garden.

we spent the day at kelley's island a great idea for a summer day. we drove a golf cart around all day. really fun.
