We enjoyed our trip to this winery, even if we felt a little rushed (there was a large party next door, and the owner was servicing them and us at the same time). Very friendly and knowledgeable owner, and some nice relaxing grounds - if not for the large party we might have had a glass here and sat outside.

Had a very nice time on Saturday 8/13. Keith is very upbeat and willing to share info AND his wines. We had a table full of old and new friends by the time the afternoon was done!

One of the best kept secrets in Central Ohio. Very good wine. The owner was very helpful answering questions.

Excellent wines and a lot of varieties (19 last time I checked) to offer. If you like a strong, bold dry red, with complexity you'll find some old world styles there and if you like semi-sweet reds and whites, as well as some sweet fruity whites, try them. It is a vineyard and winery, with another building for catered events and the owner is very knowledgeable, down to earth and easy to talk to.

Didn't care for his wines or his attitude. Bought my husband a bottle of Finale. Too much of a "plastic" atmosphere.

Favorite Wine: premcess

Slate Run had some very nice white wines. The owner, however, was far from friendly. He poured the wines, but when asked some questions about when he started and where he got his vines, he became testy. He definitely makes good wine. He just needs to work on his interactions with people.
