Had a fantastic visit here yesterday! When we first walked in, I thought wow - a tasting at the dining room table. One other couple was seated and halfway through their tasting as we sat down to start ours. The owner/vintner was pouring and didn't miss a thing. While there 2 other separate parties came in to buy cases of the Buckeye Red. It's popular in this area (a little sweet for us but not bad) and we were told it's a favorite at Ohio State tailgate parties by one of the case buyers. They are in the process of moving the tasting room to a new building - I hope they keep the dining room table theme!

Great people with a small and simple rural vineyard/winery in a remote country setting. Excellent wines. Don't miss this one, and don't forget to plan your trip to Shamrock Vineyards with a stop at the nearby G & R bar and grill in Waldo, Oh for one of their world famous bologna sandwiches. Shamrock Buckeye Red wine and the G & R bologna sandwiches - 2 great central Ohio treasures.
