Nice little winery, not a huge selection, but we found a few that we like. Did not meet Mike or Michael. Our server was very nice.

Favorite Wine: the wines all sucked and tasted bitter & nasty

they advertise a tour of an alpaca farm on their site,but they leave out all the crap you have to go through to try to schedule it. I was told one thing by Mike(and he changed it to Michael after I called him Mike and switched back to Mike after I called him Michael. After our free wine tasting(which I paid for, after we were insulted and treated like second class citizens),I went to the restroom and while I was gone, Mike told the lady I was with that I had told him she wanted to buy an alpaca which is a total fabrication.When I questioned him about this he got loud and defensive and said I was lying and would not discuss it with me and said his wife would be there to talk to. After wating 15 minutes and no one showing up my patience ran out and I asked him how much the free wine tasting was and I paid it and we left and went to Raven"s Glenn Winery which is just a few miles down the road where we purchased 3 bottles of excellent wine and were treated with respect and courtesy. I will let all my friends know of the treatment we received at Yellow Butterfly and advise them to steer clear of the place. I don"t appreciate having someone say I said things I didn't say. Had mike had the courtesy to listen I would have told him that neither my friend Nor myself have the room to keep an alpaca and we both live in areas where you are not allowed to keep such animals. As far as I am concerned, you couldn't pay me to ever go back to that place.

Favorite Wine: Did not like any of the choices

Mike or Michael (whichever he decided worked for him) was rude from the moment my friend and I arrived. We arrived excited and ready to have a great experience only to be treated with disrespect and rudeness. He had no people skills and was very unfriendly. We canceled dinner, paid the tasting charge and left. We will never return nor would we ever recommend this winery to any of our friends. (don't even suggest to see an alpaca unless you tell him you are thinking of purchasing one!) Not far down the highway is a much nicer winery with so much more to offer - especially class! Great food, better wine and a much more friendly, respectful atmosphere. Don't waste your time on Yellow Butterfly.

Favorite Wine: Ridge Rouge?

Loved the big yellow barn. New winery. Not a lot of wines to choose from yet, but what they serve is all quite good.
