Favorite Wine: 2-5-9 Dry Reisling 2012, 2-5-9 Tannat 2009, Ramily Reserve Claret 2007

The vineyard is beautiful; the tour is interesting; strolling the walking trails was relaxing and rejuvenating. The regular wine line up was interesting though uneventful while the Reserve line was the star of the show. All of the reserve wines were outstanding and the champagne was a treat. The 2-5-9 Dry Riesling 2012 , 2-5-9 Tannat 2009, and the Family Reserve Claret 2007 all chock full of complex flavor profiles and very drinkable. If I could afford a $40 bottle of wine, I would take home the Family Reserve Claret 2007.

Favorite Wine: Estate Chardonnay, Harvest red, Riesling

Visited this outstanding winery twice on same vacation. Grounds are meticulouly groomed, tasting room is large and accomodating. Staff very knowledeable. Really liked the intro to Mr. Charlie Shelton-owner. Gift selection in the tasting area is well stocked with clever gifts. Will put this on the OH to SC tour of I-77 every time we travel!

Favorite Wine: 10th anniversary Bordeaux blend

Tasted only the dry reds at this gorgeous winery. Roughly half of these were thin and undistinguished. The other half, however, were outstanding, especially the '07 Cabernet Saugivnon and their recently released 10th anniversary wine, a typical Bordeaux blend. The restaurant is first class.

Too much emphasis on sweet wines. Red wines were thin and a bit off. Beautiful building and grounds. Location in the northern Yadkin Valley is apparently a good place to grow Reisling.

One of the best wineries in the East. All the staff are great and very knowledgable. Love that Reisling. Restaurant is great.Loved the fall festival.

Favorite Wine: 2008 Reisling

June 09-Did not visit the tasting room this time but had lunch at the restaurant. The 2008 Reisling is spectacular! Lunch was very good. Devil's Triangle for dessert is a must for the chocolate lover - we wanted to lick the plate!

Traveling thru the state & decided on a pit stop - our boys got to run around outdoors a little & we bought some wonderful summer drinking wines - we'll be back!

This is one of North Carolina's premiere wineries. I have visited this winery several times over the past few years and there alway someting new to see. The summer jazz concerts are one of my personal favorites.

May 08 - Gorgeous place to visit! Great grounds for picnicing, restaurant, hotel. Met the Shelton family in the tasting room. We plan to return often!

I LOVE this place. One of my favorite wineries! Gorgeous grounds....you must see! Extremely good wine selection. Restaurant on the premises as well.
