Come for the view, come for the wine, come for the developing history of this 4.5 year old vineyard. Upon finding this location along a pig path road, you will be treated to possibly the most awesome vineyard setting to be found on the east coast. Simply stunning, to say the least. Yes, the vines and wines are still young, but hidden here is a vintner pulling out the best that can be expected from a wonderful cross section of varietals. Though the flights may come across as a bit pricey, the pours are BIG, ~ albeit in plastic cups served in a nice tasting tray. We settled in for a flight of four whites (Gruner Veltliner, Riesling, Petit Manseng and a unique Chenin Blanc) plus a glass of Blaufrankisch. This winery compliments the intersection of The Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway.
