Favorite Wine: Goldeneye Pinot Noir
My wife and I had the 2006 Syrah a few nights ago at Quiessence in Phoenix. We were very pleasantly surprised. As good or better than most California or Australian Syrahs in the same price range. Haven't been to the winery so can't comment on that.

Tasted the wine at a tent event in April, by far the worst AZ wines I've had. The wines were weak and lacked everything a quality wine should have. Not all AZ wineries have 100% perfection in their wines but most are in the 75% range. I would much rather had stayed in CA for wine. The only salvation was that there were 3 other good wineries there.
