Favorite Wine: Reisling

We enjoyed the afternoon at this local winery just 20 min. from downtown Louisville. Alician greeted us with a welcoming smile and tons of knowledge about all the wine made at this winery. The area was beautifully decorated and very welcoming. There were many handcrafted items anyone who enjoys wine would appreciate as gifts. I suggest anyone in the Louisville area take a few hours to go visit this local treasure.

Favorite Wine: Chardonnay

The tasting room here is large and friendly, and they had an area just inside the door prior to entering the tasting room for the kids (nice idea!). The girl doing our tasting was great - she knew what she was doing and didn't sound as if she were reading from a script when describing our pours. the wines were good, but nothing really jumped out as special. Overall a great stop - check them out if your travelling through!
