We finally got to visit the Black Barn winery. Usually they are only open by reservation, but they were part of the McConnell Springs event - so no reservation req'd! They only do 1 wine a year, a cab/merlot blend. But it is worth the trip to try it. We ended up taking home a 2006 vintage - very smooth and mellow. A nice ride thru horse country gets you there - so don't hesitate to visit!
