We came here after really enjoying ourselves at Silver Hills. Cottonwood was nice but not quite as nice as Silver Hills to us in terms of the wine or the ambiance. But this really is no knock. The DeChaunac here was average so pretty good. But it was a little vinegary or perhaps green. Typical in a Nebraska DeChaunac. Good enough to buy just not good enough to rave about. Their Frontenac was pretty darn good. I anticipate that as this winery gets a few more seasons under its belt my impression will only get better. We will come again on another day when we can focus on them more.
