The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting bar is tastefully decorated and features a roomy horse shoe tasting bar with stools and a fire place. You are encouraged to relax and enjoy the experience.
They have a wonderful selection of wines. The Conquistador Red is their best seller. However, the Arizona Blush is also fabulous - and the Meritage is wonderful when I want a red wine with dinner. After tasting, be sure to purchase a glass (or bottle) of wine and enjoy the back patio or lawn.
Their lunches and dinners (and Sunday brunch) are a wonderful experience, and their events (such as the Luau and Grape Stomp) are tons of fun for the whole family. Pair a visit here with a trip to the local orchards to pick fruit, and you have a wonderful weekend.

A delightful place to stop and enjoy a leisurely wine tasting. It is absolutely beautiful, and if you have a picnic lunch with you, you are invited to enjoy the back patio (as we did).

Los Pinos Ranch Vineyards (written Jul 07, 2009)

We were driving down I-30 on our way to Dallas and decided to venture down to Los Pinos. It's a ways down there, but it was worth the trip. The tasting room was comfortable and we were treated well. They conducted their tastings by giving us the samples in "test tubes" that we would pour into our glass as we tasted. This was disappointing as we like to chat about the wines we are tasting. However, the staff did check on us several times, so we didn't feel like we were totally left to our own devices. They have a restaurant, and while we didn't sample their food, the people who were there seemed to be enjoying the food. Beautiful place to unwind and linger for a while.
