Illinois River Winery (written Feb 08, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 3 stars
Both sweet and drier wines to satisfy all styles of wine-drinkers. The majority of them are "easy-drinking" wines, though.

August Hill Winery (written Feb 08, 2009)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars
Terrific, quality wine! If you get a chance, take the time to speak with Mark, the owner/founder. He is a joy to speak with; very knowledable, friendly and of course, passionate about wine! I had the chance to listen to him explain the pros, cons and challenges of Illinois wine-making. You can taste the quality and care that he puts into his wines. Higher quality wine than the near-by Illinois River Winery, but both places are worth a stop! Try the Almond Infusion sparkling wine for a real treat.

White Winter Winery (written Dec 11, 2008)
Wine: 2 stars Winery: 2 stars Ambiance: 2 stars

Sandhill Crane Vineyards (written Dec 11, 2008)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 4 stars
