A beautiful winery, with excellent wines. The unfortunate bit? The tasting room staff prefers to talk down to the customers, rather than providing information or sticking with pouring wine.

Late in the day we happened across the sign to Graeser Winery. Feeling like we could do with one more stop on our vacation, we turned in. What a mistake that was! The elderly owner was pouring in the tasting room. He seemed to have already enjoyed far too much of his own wine. He was screaming at the top of his lungs, and pounding on the bar. The wine is of middling quality. Unfortunately, there are many better wineries in the Calistoga area. I would recommend visiting them instead.
