Castello di Borghese Vineyard and Winery

If your looking for rude, unattentive, and snobby hosts. Make this a stop. The only good thing we got from this vineyard was a picture next to the Pinot Noir truck. The flights were reasonably priced but we were given their finest clear plastic cups to taste in with just a tiny splash of wine that barely gave you any indication of what you were tasting. The bad taste in our mouths was not just left by the wine. A Long Island Wine Ambassador (how do I get this job) was there and was promptly treated with a nice glass, and free samples while we were shunned off as tourists. After the foul taste in our mouths from bland wines with little body we inquired about the purchase of logo glassware and were promptly given a "we don't sell those" which was followed by a woman who looked down at us and said "Oh, those are like $10 each". After being spoken down to we left with no purchases, maybe looking young has it's disadvantages in some places. Unfortunately for them we spent loads of our money elsewhere on better wine, so the sour taste was quickly abolished.
