Wiederkehr Wine Cellars, advertise their restaurant as having a Swiss atmosphere, the food we received in the restaurant was fair, service was poor to fair, and the atmosphere was far less than that of a European guesthouse winery. We went to sample wines - they did not rinse the glasses out between samplings which left contaminated wine in the glasses they did have some wines that tasted fairly good it's hard to know whether it was the wine you were tasting or a blend of two wines the one prior or the one you were drinking. If you have limited time; this would be the one winery in this part of Arkansas that I would surpass and go on to the others.The wine rating is tenative based on the tasting that was far below wine tasting standards

The Post Familie Vineyards offers a atmosphere that is great, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the wines, also for those who want a little mystery; the winemaker has developed his own hybrid wine that is unique and one that I enjoyed trying.

The Mount Bethel winery is what I consider a mom-and-pop winery, small but with an excellent choice of wines, a friendly atmosphere, but with a small setting.

Chateau Aux Arc, have some very good red wines. I personally enjoy their facility offers an excellent patio for those who wish to set out on it and enjoy some wine while they chat. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their wines.
