Chrysalis Vineyards (written Jan 21, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 5 stars
This was one of the first wineries we went to. It has a beautiful view and great ambiance. The wines are pretty good. Remember, Nortons are a wine that most people love or hate. It's not my favorite Norton, but remember that's subjective. I did really like the other wines, so don't skip this winery based on one wine alone. Try it, you might LOVE it. It's a beautiful place to go and the people are very friendly.

Gray Ghost Vineyards (written Jan 21, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 3 stars
A great one to go to. It's also very close to Unicorn Winery, so a day trip with 2 wineries close together makes it nice. They have recently (over the last 2 years) added a bigger tasting room. The people are friendly. There's a cute little gazebo outside for visitors. There's a shaded area that makes visiting in the summer nice. A good amount of room for the kids to run around. We enjoy it!

Pearmund Cellars (written Jan 20, 2009)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars
We love the wine here! Chris Pearmund does a great job with his wine. The reds are all wonderful and the whites are great too. There's a play corner for the kids and a beautiful view especially in the spring and summer when it's warm out. They have a barrel room where they've been known to have special pairings. It's a fun place and I would recommend it to anyone. Be sure to try the Vin de Sol if they have it when you go. It's nutty and delicious!

Mediterranean Cellars (written Jan 20, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars
The people here are so sweet. They're Greek, and are just very warm-hearted. They have very interesting wines with lots of herby notes. We definitely enjoy it! They have the Rechina (I hope I spelled that correctly). It's definitely different, but fun to try. Not a whole lot of running around room for kids, but honestly...the people are just so nice, I feel comfortable having my daughter in there. I know that they won't be offended.
