The staff was knowledgable once they opened up to discussion. The wine was good for the area. Not exceptional.

This is noted as one of the top vineyards in VA. The wine was good, but not spectacular. The vineyard is lovely and the staff is friendly and engaging.

We picked the wrong day for a repeat visit to Hillsborough. The wine is very good. On this particular day, the staff was overwhelmed and they packaged a wrong, less expensive, bottle of wine than we purchased. Rather disapointing, as on a previous visit the staff was helpful, engaging, and open to discussion. Go for the wine an spectacular view.
