Schloss Doepken Winery (written Jul 12, 2010)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 5 stars
If you want to try a winery that is a unique experiance, this is the place. Simple, old farm house, with lots of charm. We went there with a group of three. Mona and John presented each wine with a story and a recommendation for meals complimented by each wine. What a treat! After visiting so many wineries that were very similar to each other, we found this one to be a special place, that we will always remember. I recommend the Cab and the Crisp apple wine (for those cold nights). Small place, so go with a small group and plan to stay nearly an hour. Delightful experiance.

Maize Valley Winery (written Jul 12, 2010)
Wine: 1 stars Winery: 2 stars Ambiance: 5 stars
Fun place in the summer and fall. Very family friendly. As mentioned before, the sweeter wines can be fun.
