St. Michaels Winery (written Sep 12, 2007)
Wine: 2 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars
I had a hard time taking more than one or two sips with most of the reds and those sips were follower with some funky after tastes. It seemed that maybe these wines were bottled too soon or the wine makers needs some more experience with the red wines. I would stay away from the Pinot Noir. The whites were quite a bit better. The tasting experience was nice, but that was about it. I didn't want to take any home with me. I suggest spending your time at another winery in Maryland if you can. I have enjoyed the wine from those places so much more. At least the staff was friendly and the old mill that the winery is in was cute.
