Volant Mill Winery (written Mar 29, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars
We stopped at Volant after being disappointed in Windgate. Volant was a pleasant surprise and the girl in the winery was very bubbly and pleasant. The town of Volant shuts down to early for the amount of visitors it gets.

Windgate Vineyards (written Mar 29, 2009)
Wine: 2 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 2 stars
You may want to rent an ATV or take an Amish buggy ride to the winery, it's a very rough muddy dirt road. We took home a bottle of Red Raspberry, but over all, was not impressed at all. I am originally from Erie PA, home of some of the best wines in the US.
