Flag Hill Winery (written May 10, 2007)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars
This winery/vineyard is picturesque and very rustic. It was once a dairy farm and they renovated the barn to be used as the tasting room, for the wine :-), a dining room, which serves excellent meals on the weekends and they added a distillery recently that makes some awesome vodka and liqueurs. They make some fruits wines as well as the grape wines, even though grapes are a fruit, but these fruit wines are from peaches, blueberries, and cranberries. They're all good, yet you will have to go there and taste for yourself. They even will host your wedding and/or wedding dinner, outside with a magnificent view over looking their vineyards. It is worth the trip and gets a five star rating in my book!!
