Favorite Wine: white; Little Iza red; Neuhaus
Our second visit and just as enjoyable as our first visit. Don Milner was comical and lead everyone in the tasting room in a sing along.Good wine and a good time.
Carlos Creek Winery (written Apr 03, 2017)

Favorite Wine: Vintner's Blend
Tasting is $8 or $9 depending on the selection. Wine is over-rated, over priced and extremely average. Most of the reds sampled were California grapes, little Minnesota grown...very disappointing.

Favorite Wine: Days End
Lovely rural setting for vineyard and winery. The tasting room is well appointed and the bar and bar-back are beautifully crafted wood, but the tasting room is small and can comfortably handle only a dozen or so people. The red wine offering was poor to fair and whites were only average.
Engelbrecht Family Winery and Vineyards (written Jul 28, 2013)
Wine: Winery: Ambiance:
Favorite Wine: Frederick's Red
The tasting room was browser friendly with novelties and antiques, but the wine was unremarkable.
Cannon River Winery (written Jul 28, 2013)
Wine: Winery: Ambiance:
Tasting room and winery were nicely appointed and fun to browse. We found their wine to be quite average and nothing was remarkable.
Crow River Winery (written Jul 13, 2013)

Favorite Wine: Marquette
Wines from estate grown grapes and local fruit are very good. Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merlot grapes from California yield good but average wine. They make a garlic wine for cooking that is wonderful. Winery, tasting room and staff made this a very enjoyable afternoon.
Parley Lake Winery (written Oct 23, 2011)
Wine: Winery: Ambiance:
Wines are average at best...dry wines with little character.

This was a delightful visit. Don and the rest of the Millner family have a passion for their wines and made the visit enjoyable. Our favorites Little Iza and Mullner Weiss.

Favorite Wine: dessert wines are incredible
Beautiful setting over looking the Mississippi River valley. Vines are 6 years old and selling wine only 2 years. Wine was superb. Dave Danzinger (co-owner) is a marvelous host and helped make this a winery we will visit again.
Vernon Vineyards (written Jul 21, 2011)

Favorite Wine: LaCrosse
Great location in the middle of no where, GPS helps. The dry and semi-sweet reds were very delightful. The Edleweiss was the best in white.
Winneshiek Wildberry Winery (written Jul 21, 2011)
Wine: Winery: Ambiance:
Wonderful setting...refurbished barn in the middle of Iowa farmland. The wine (mostly berry) was unremakable and lacked character. We were disappointed.
Seven Hawks Vineyards (written Jul 21, 2011)

Winery and B&B and we stayed the night. The wine was average, nothing noteworthy, but the LaCrescent Suite was great.
