MillaNova Winery (written Oct 29, 2011)
Wine: 1 stars Winery: 1 stars Ambiance: 1 stars
First off - they offer 4 complimemtary tastings from a specified list - their dry reds are $4 to taste those 5 wines and $2 per wine to taste their dessert wines. I've been to MillaNova twice now and unfortunately the service was worse the second time. There were two people working, and only 4 customers in the winery (2 couples) but the staff obviously was put out with having customers at all. It was no where near their posted closing time so I was a little confused by their antagonistic attitude. It was so uncomfortable I almost just walked out but wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. As the tasting began the person serving us refused to even smile and did not want to talk about the wines. An attempt was made to start a conversation with her but all we got was an abrupt one word answer so we just finished the tasting in silence and left as quickly as we could. All I can remember of the wine was a cloying, syrupy sweet taste that was not pleasant - which is odd since I lean more towards the sweet wines. Hopefullly others will have a better experience.

Wight-Meyer Vineyard and Winery (written Oct 25, 2011)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars
LOVE this winery and the people! They have such a lovely selection of wines there is something for everyone.

Chuckleberry Farm & Winery (written Jul 23, 2011)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars
I can't say enough about Chuckleberry's. The owners are the friendliest people I've ever met, they go out of their way to ensure their visitors have a truly enjoyable experience. Their tastings include everything they sell - every winery I've ever visited lets you choose a few wines but at Chuckleberry, you sample everything. There is not a wine there that I don't love - and we go back quite a bit for the wonderful wine and fun loving company. We love Chuckleberry so much we're having our wedding there and they have been so helpful with the wedding plans! If you're looking for fabulous wine and a good time - check out Chuckleberry - you won't be disappointed.
