Mon Ami Historic Winery / Gideon Own Wine Co. (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 1 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

Good looking place. I think it is more of a restuarant? Not sure if they actually make wine on property.

Perennial Vineyards (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

Favorite Wine: Cab was unique, aged in PA Oak. Dry Vidal Blanc

I think this is my favorite winery in Ohio. The wine was great, the food was tasty, and we sat in room made out of straw and stucco next to a huge fireplace. Love it!

Raven's Glenn Winery & Italian Restaurant (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

The wine is pretty good, sweeter, some dry. The food was very tasty.

Mastropietro Winery (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

The wine was very enjoyable. Nice tasting room with friendly staff, a very fun night.

South River Vineyard (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 2 stars

The wine is good. Tasting wine in an old church is uncomfortable, I was waiting for the bolt of lightning.

Laurello Vineyards (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

The cosmo is a nice red wine. Good food.

Buccia Vineyard (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 3 stars

The wine is unusual. The winery/B&B is unusual. The owners are very friendly. They have there own grape, no one makes wine from this grape except Buccia, unusual!

Winery at Wolf Creek (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

The wine has improved. The view is killer!

It's Your Winery (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 3 stars

They moved to a bigger location. You can make your own beer too!

Troutman Vineyards (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

Neat little place. Wines pretty good. Their pets are on the wine labels, which you can actually pet on the way out.

Breitenbach Wine Cellar (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 3 stars

Touristy. More like a California winery with an Amish twist. The wine sweeter, but good. A nice break when visiting Amish country.

Markko Vineyard (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

It's interesting! Be open minded, the wine is good! I half expected Hansel & Gretal to walk out of the woods. Neat experience.

Ferrante Winery and Ristorante (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

Nice place, good if you want to do dinner. Wine is OK. A touch too sweet.

Heineman Winery (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 2 stars

Favorite Wine: Chambourcin

The wine is a little sweet, but to be expected on the lake. The winery is old and a little run down, but really cool. Chambourcin was pretty good. They have a cave in the winery! Really cool old wood barrels.

Maize Valley Winery (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 1 stars

The wine is OK if you like concord or fruity wines. Set-up like a fruit market. Amish feel.

Al-Bi Winery (written Jan 07, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 2 stars Ambiance: 2 stars

OK, wine is very sweet. Owner is very funny.

Harpersfield Vineyard (written Jan 07, 2009)

Good wine, nice, simple, love the fireplace.

Sarah's Vineyard (written Jan 07, 2009)

Nice place, good location next to Blossom. Wine was OK.
