June 09-Did not visit the tasting room this time but had lunch at the restaurant. The 2008 Reisling is spectacular! Lunch was very good. Devil's Triangle for dessert is a must for the chocolate lover - we wanted to lick the plate!

June 09-Very generous tasting - they do not charge for it if you buy wine. We liked almost every wine we tried! It was rather bizarre however that we wanted to purchase a gift certificate/card to give to friends and they insisted that we not do it because we didn't know what wine our friends would want to purchase with it ??? They advertise gift cards on their website (which is an EXCELLENT, very informative website!)

June 2009 - We were kind of disappointed:-( Love the name and label but the tasting experience was not the best. The tasting room is a big metal warehouse building. We didn't feel very welcomed and the wines were just OK.

Jan 09 - Wonderful experience! Very generous tasting - we tasted 10-12 wines. Lunch at the restaurant was absolutely delicious! We plan to return often!

Oct 07 - Not sure if they are still in business but visited here in Oct 07 and enjoyed it. very small operation.

May 08 - Gorgeous place to visit! Great grounds for picnicing, restaurant, hotel. Met the Shelton family in the tasting room. We plan to return often!

Sept 08 - Pretty drive to the winery through the vineyards. Friendly staff. Other nice items (furniture,etc) for sale. Nice rocking chair porch.

September 08 - VERY, VERY FRIENDLY owners! Wonderful patio for picnicing. Sangria and wassail are wonderful! Just a really fun place to visit. Highly recommend Garden Gate!
