Rocky Waters Vineyard/Winery (written Mar 29, 2012)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

Favorite Wine: Highland Blush

We visitied this winery on our way home from Galena's Wine Lovers Weekend. It is a little off the beaten path, but set in a very picturesque setting. The owner was a very nice informative guy.

Nissley Vineyards and Winery Estate (written Jan 01, 2012)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 3 stars

Favorite Wine: Niagra

Visited this winery in Oct 2010. Self guided tour was a nice change of pace from no tour to paid guided tours. Nice building decor. Staff was not the most welcoming.

Wollersheim Winery (written Jan 01, 2012)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

We were at this winery in 2008. The tour was very interesting. We purchased Dry Reisling, Blushing Rose, and Cedarburg Spice. This is the only place we have been to so far that had wooden wine storage boxes for sale.

Stone Hill Winery - Branson (written Jan 01, 2012)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

After a disappointing trip to Branson many years ago, this winery was our first ever wine tour and tasting.

Mount Pleasant Winery (written Jan 01, 2012)
Wine: 1 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

Favorite Wine: None, no sweets

This winery was our last stop of the day. They had a nice parking lot and tasting room. But unfortunately this is not the winery for semi-sweet or sweet wine lovers, as they only have dry wine tastings. Maybe only dry wines at all. We did however discover chocolate covered wine grapes which were wonderful. Haven't been able to find them anywhere else yet. Probably only spent less than 10 min. total here.

Montelle Winery (written Jan 01, 2012)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

Favorite Wine: Peachy

This was our last stop of the day in July 2011. We loved the ambiance of this winery, with great music and a beautiful deck overlooking the area. The sandwiches we had were very good as well. The tasting room was spacious and we purchased many wines with their special at the time. The also had made a delicious Sangria with their Peachy wine that they had recipes for. The downside to this winery was the check out process. They only had 1 central check out where you purchased everything from wine to lunch and it became confusing if you were purchasing many things at once.

Balducci Vineyards (written Jan 01, 2012)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

Favorite Wine: Dolce Bianco

Visited this new winery in July 2011. It was a bit of a walk from parking lot to tasting room on a gravel pathway. But they did have nice grounds otherwise, they were setting up for an event. Not many semi-sweet to sweet wines to taste, but really like the Dolce Bianco. Very nice staff.

Noboleis Vineyards (written Jan 01, 2012)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 2 stars

Visited this new winery early in the the day in July 2011. Tried 5 wines none really stood out enough for us to purchase.

Blumenhof Vineyards and Winery (written Jan 01, 2012)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

Favorite Wine: Katy's Blush

First winery stop of the day thus we were the only ones there. Kind, informative staff. We always purchase a souvenir glass, but they were out. Fortunately after asking they allowed us to purchase a tasting glass. Only a few semi-sweet wines for tasting that day.

Augusta Winery (written Jan 01, 2012)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 3 stars

Corner location and smaller tasting room, but staff was very happy and knowledgeable, even directing us to other winery locations. We like semi-sweet to sweet wines and they provided. Tasted 6 wines and bought all but 1.
