Autumn Wardyn's Wine Journal Entries

Prime Country Winery (written Mar 02, 2008)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 4 stars
This place was pretty hard to find. We drove past the sign twice. These wines had a real homemade taste to them. I thought they were all a little too sweet. The couple that ran the place was very nice.

SchillingBridge Winery and MicroBrewery (written Aug 26, 2007)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars
By far my favorite winery. It is totally worth the drive. The Schillings are great people and treat their customers very well. Every wine has a nice clean flavor. . .I can't say I dislike any of them. The brew is good too!

Soaring Wings Vineyard (written Aug 26, 2007)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars
One of my favorite wineries! We ended our wine tour here and shared several bottles. The ladies working were wonderful. If you get a chance grab a bottle and enjoy the beautiful view from the porch.

Arbor Trails Winery (written Aug 26, 2007)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 3 stars
We had a neat day here. The day we went they were harvesting and pressing the grapes. It was pretty cool to see it all done. We even had the opportunity to taste some of the grapes.

Sugar Clay Winery and Vineyards (written Aug 26, 2007)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars
Very beautiful. The day we went there was a wedding reception there, so it was easy to find, we simply followed the "Wedding" signs. The ladies working there were very nice and the tasting was free. We bought two bottles, Bandanna Red and Faus Hans Rosa. . .both excellent.
