Anyela's Vineyards (written Jun 12, 2011)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

Favorite Wine: Reisling

This winery is stunning. The tasting room is gorgeous and they have a beautiful spot that over-looks Skaneateles lake. They did not have the best wine for our taste but, the woman doing the tasting was knowledgeable and very pleasant. The fireplace room is awesome. Much like a ski lodge. I think we will be going back tomorrow.

Casa Larga Vineyards (written Jun 09, 2011)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

Late Summer 2010. Oh my goodness this place is gorgeous. The tasting room is beautiful and has many offerings in the gift shop. We did feel like we were being rushed through the tasting and the person pouring was a little bitchy. She did not offer much in the way of education/history about the wine. We purchased some wine and when we got it home it had some crystallization on the Rosso. I believe it is tartaric acid (it happens). I called and let them know and they set me 2 free bottles. Very happy with the customer service after we go home to Syracuse.

Wine: 5 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

Favorite Wine: North Country Red, Wellesley Island White, Vignoles, Riesling, Gewurztraminer,

So far, this is my favorite place for tasting and shopping. My boyfriend took me here for my 40th birthday in 2007. The tasting room/gift shop is a blast. The people are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They know what they are doing- and make it fun. I have so many favorites from this winery
