Deb 's Wine Journal Entries

Winery at Wolf Creek (written Aug 01, 2009)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 2 stars

Very crowded and a lot of young people. Reminded me of a bar instead of a winery.I think I would have liked the winery better if we could have sat outside. Wine was good.

Maize Valley Winery (written Aug 01, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 3 stars Ambiance: 2 stars

Heard a lot of great things about this winery. But, went there on a cold Dec. day and nothing much was going on. It felt like just a part of the grocery store, not a winery at all.

Breitenbach Wine Cellar (written Aug 01, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 1 stars Ambiance: 3 stars

I like a lot of their wines, but am not a big fan of the winery. Too commercialized and has the feel of a "business".

Silver Moon Winery (written Aug 01, 2009)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

LOVE the wine and the staff is very friendly and helpful!

Al-Bi Winery (written Aug 01, 2009)
Wine: 4 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

A very warm and welcoming place. It may be little, but is big on charm and the owners are so much fun!

Perennial Vineyards (written Aug 01, 2009)
Wine: 3 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

I live close to Perennial and have been there many times. We have always had good service. Sometimes it gets really busy and you have to stand in line for a while, but we have always been treated well. No complaints and the atmosphere is great.
