Harpersfield Vineyard (written Jun 02, 2008)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

Favorite Wine: St. Vincent, Fute di Chene & Pinot Noir!

This is by far one of the best Wineries in Ohio! It is more for the real Wine lovers! Not for beginners! Unless you have a more sophistcated palate! The Wines are made in a European Style! They have something for every one! Rieslings and Gewurtraminer's are done like a good Alsace! Not too dry but definately not sweet! They have delcious French tarts & cheese plates to enjoy with the Wines! It is a small French Chalet theme and you can sit outside on the deck or out under the Tent which in the heat of August is the best seat, with a lovely breeze that passes thru! If you like large crowded places this isn't for you! It is very quiet and even romantic! Stop in and say hi to Patty, Adolf & wes the winemaker. It is a very unique Winery!

South River Vineyard (written Jun 02, 2008)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

I love the feel of South River, it is a peacefull place to sit and enjoy a glass of Wine! The pavillion out behind the Church Winery has a stone fire place which they don't mind firering it up for you on cool days!
