Niles's Wine Journal Entries

Callaway Vineyard and Winery (written Jul 18, 2010)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 4 stars

Very nice people, they offer full tours to members of their wine club and a guest. It's worth seeing, also comes with a private tasting flight. The wine is great! The public tasting room was a little crowded, I prefer the more personal feel of a small boutique winery.

Page Springs Vineyards and Cellars (written Jul 18, 2010)
Wine: 5 stars Winery: 4 stars Ambiance: 5 stars

Favorite Wine: Vino de la Familia, La Serrana, Mule's Mistake

Nice feel to the tasting room. Beautiful view of Oak Creek. Eric Glomski sure knows how to blend some fantastic wines. Bring some steak or shrimp to grill on the patio that hangs over the creek. Enjoy your meal and a bottle of wine listening to the babbling of the water. When you're done step into the tent of the dancing hands and let your spine be played like a harpsichord.

Fantastic staff, tasty wine. A little out of the way but a must see.
