Raven's Glenn Winery & Italian Restaurant (written Nov 04, 2010)

We have taken a bus tour (50 people) to Raven's Glenn as one of our many stops for the last four years. The first three years the winery would have received high marks. Our October 2010 trip, however, was a very negative experience. The service was slow, the food was cold, customers were asked to wait for clean glasses, when no clean glasses were available water was served in used wine glasses after our meal, the wine tasting area was too crowded to serve customers, the discount our group was promised in the gift shop was not honored. When we alerted management to our concerns, appropriate follow through was not conducted. Businesses can have a bad day. Not acknowledging such and not doing what is necessary to retain customers is unacceptable. We will not return.
