Biltmore Estate Winery (written Apr 13, 2007)
Wine: Winery: Ambiance:
We had to wait in a long line just to get into the winery for tastings. Once in, we were pressured to finish our tastings and move on to the gift shop to buy wine. The wine itself was alright, but not great. They do have a great video presentation that describes how the the wine is made as well as an observation deck for visitors, so overall it was a great experience.

Favorite Wine: Port
I toured this winery in the summer of 2006 with my girlfriend. Although the wine tasted great, the staff was very rude and treated us as if we'd never visited a winery before! Nonetheless, they have a good selection of wines and their port was amazing, especially with chocolate!
Nashoba Valley Winery (written Mar 03, 2007)

Favorite Wine: Raspberry
I visited this winery last weekend and really enjoyed the wines. Nashoba Valley Winery really concentrates on sweet wines, so make sure you focus your 5 tastes on that part of the tasting list. The Raspberry Wine is amazing and you can smell it at a distance!
Door Peninsula Winery (written Feb 10, 2007)

Favorite Wine: Concord Grape
This winery is a family favorite! Every year we make the trip to Door Peninsula Winery to get a case of their great fruit wine! If you visit, be sure to go on the tour, which includes a great video on Wisconsin Wine and talking cherry boxes! The winery has a large tasting area and all the wine is dispensed using spigots!
