My husband and I went on a drive to eastern Connecticut today and were extremely impressed with Cassidy Hill! The view from the beautiful log cabin winery is one of the finest in the area. Cassidy Hill's vines are framed by expansive rolling hillsides. Once inside the winery, we were greeted by the owner. He was extremely friendly and told us about his fairly new operation. For the wine tasting, a friendly and knowledgeable staff member poured us five wines and answered all our questions with extra information! The wine was fantastic and so was the service. We bought a bottle and drank it on the porch of the log cabin while taking in the fantastic view. Great winery!
